ECS Solutions: Testing and Analysis
With the unmatched testing capabilities of ECS, we are
always working on tomorrow’s products today. Our labs are
set up to do actual motor testing for a variety of applications and a
wide range of specifications. Through testing, we can better understand
the application and work with your product design teams to assure optimum
design.
There is no substitute for testing in the same
environment as that of our customers. For automotive applications,
we test alternators, starters, wiper motors, blower motors, intermittent
duty applications and more. We can test at room temperature and high
temperature. Ambient conditions can be varied to match the requirements.
Our noise lab can be used to evaluate both audible and electrical noise.
Our Fredrig allows us to understand the impact of heat and speed on
slip rings and commutators.
Special designed test capabilities allow us to better understand
what happens to our brushes and commutators under severe conditions.
Scientific experiments allow us to better understand the interaction
of materials and/or process modifications. Detailed motor analysis is
a great way to troubleshoot tough applications.
