ECS Magnets: Brand Descriptions
Data Sheet Sintered RE-Fe-B - This material enhances the room temperature performance of permanent magnets by 30 - 50 %. Raw materials for Neomag S are in much more plentiful supply than those for SmCo magnets. And Neomag S contains no cobalt, which is costly and sometimes in critical supply.
Data Sheet Injection Molded RE-Fe-B & Compression Molded RE-Fe-B - High magnetic flux density. High magnetic and thermal stability. Wide range of shaping possibilities with close manufacturing tolerances. Precision thin-walled parts. Good mechanical properties. High edge strength.
Sintered and Bonded Samarium Cobalt - Koermax S (Sintered Samarium Cobalt) grades are anisotropic. These materials offer high energy products and exceptional resistance to demagnetization in the presence of opposing field, with good remanence and temperature coefficient. Bonded Koermax materials offer all the advantages of injection molded magnets – near net shape, tight tolerances, insert molding – while maintaining good remanence and temperature stability.
Data Sheet Sintered Hard-Ferrite - Isotropic and anisotropic hard-ferrite magnets, made by powder metallurgy/sintering. Low-cost magnetic material. Broad raw materials base. Wide range of magnetic values. High operating temperatures. High chemical stability. Low electrical and thermal conductivity.
Data Sheet Injected Molded Ferrite - Close manufacturing tolerances. Good mechanical properties. High edge strength. Large variety of shaping possibilities. High operating temperatures through use of suitable binders.
Data Sheet Hybrid Injection Molded Ferrite/RE-Fe-B - The simultaneous use of hard ferrite and NdFeB makes it possible to create a wide variety of plastic bonded permanent magnets. The different temperature coefficients of the two components result in more complex and technically very interesting properties compared with straight ferrite or NdFeB magnets.
Data Sheet Sintered AlNiCo - Wide range of grades. High thermal stability of magnetic values. Operating temperatures up to 550°C. Good electrical and thermal conductivity.
